Best Buddies
This is my tribute to all Maleny birds who make our lives so enjoyable. These two are a hybrid of the dozens of species who live in our lovely environment. Their crazy antics, beautiful melodies, aerobatics, acrobatics, squabbles and inquisitiveness bring happiness to our lives. Recycling is a significant issue and the use of aluminium beer cans to create the feathers is a nod to all our efforts regards climate and environment as well as a humorous recognition of the huge community effort that went into this work..
