We are thrilled to be supported by the Sunshine Coast Council as part of the encouragement of artistic endeavours in the region.

The Sunshine Coast – a place that is sunny by nature. With more than 100km of famous coastline wrapping around our lush hinterland hills and a beautiful UNESCO Biosphere Corridor to protect, our community is committed to living sustainably, celebrating all things local and sharing our picturesque landscapes and abundance of produce. Our landscape is as diverse as the experiences. You’ll find yourself barefoot on the beach one minute, unwinding on hinterland time at a luxe farm stay the next, before settling in for a leisurely lunch made with ingredients sourced just down the road. You’ll quickly see why we’re known as Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry!

Once again we are proud to partner with Flaxton Gardens who provide us the naturally beautiful backdrop to the exhibition. Flaxton Gardens generosity extends to providing the Sculpture on the Edge 2024 – Sculptor of the Year Award valued at $10,000

Flaxton Gardens is an iconic Sunshine Coast Hinterland wedding venue, restaurant and function centre with coastline views stretching from Noosa to Moreton Island. The team are everything you have been looking for in hospitality, promising you a warm welcome and all that you would expect from a family run establishment.

Walker Corporation have joined with Secrets on the Lake this year to sponsor the Sculpture on the Edge 2024 – Highly Commended Sculptor award valued at $5,000

Walker Corporation are investing $2.5 billion in the new Maroochydore City Centre which will cement the Sunshine Coast as one of Australia’s most advanced economies, transforming the region into a highly connected, vibrant hub of commercial and cultural activity anchored by technology and innovation.

Everything at Secrets has been designed to speak to the need that we all have for creativity and unique beauty. We have spent all our lives going the extra mile in anything that we have created from the silo house in Baroon Pocket, to the uniquely designed home at North Maleny, and, more recently, to our resort Secrets on the Lake.

Each treehouse, while basically similar in design, has been themed individually. Local artisans heard about what we were doing and wanted to share their skills in helping to create something that is breath taking, to the point, where our visitors have been known to burst into tears. Sculptures of all shapes and sizes can be found in our reception, restaurant and gallery. Our beautiful stunning entry doors to reception and treehouses have been carved purely to express a joy in working with wood and ironwork.

Illume Creations owned by Shiralee Cooper is a long-time supporter of Sculpture on the Edge and this year sponsors of the Sculpture on the Edge 2024 – Local Sculptor Award valued at $3,000

Illume Creations celebrates the art of colour with the stunning hand blown glass of international artist, Tina Cooper, who resides in Montville and her hot glass team. Handmade glass jewellery from a number of glass bead and dichoric glass artists as well as Wolfgang Engel’s glass pens are showcased in Illume Creations. The shop has an amazing backdrop and many more beautiful treasures can be found there. Illume Creations is open 7 days from 9:30 to 4:30 at the top of Montville.

The Sunshine Coast is home to a flourishing arts industry enriching the lives of local audiences and cultural visitors. Our region is positioned to become a leading arts destination, supported by significant population and infrastructure growth including direct international broadband, transport and an expanded airport.

Our mission is to promote the development and prosperity of the arts on the Sunshine Coast through fundraising and philanthropic investment that facilitates artistic vibrancy and engages the public imagination.
