Regularly travelled throughout Queensland and NSW tutoring sculpture techniques to clay workers.

On her own work Janna says “I am an observer of people and other living creatures. As an observer, I want to understand the nature and particularly the essence of my subject, and capture this in form. I work mainly in clay to develop my shapes, after which they are cast in bronze.“

Public art sculptures include ‘Herd of Cows’ at the Obi River bridge Maleny, Aussie animals a Community Art project in Maleny, ‘Dolphins’ Port Stevens and Tea Gardens, NSW. Federation centenary 15 life size sculptures created with the towns people of Charters Towers.

Janna has also given workshops in Switzerland and Italy and developed interactive cultural tours in Morocco.
