Sculpture is transformative in ways that painting is not... Sculpture takes on such different appearances in different light, time of day and direction. A lot of sculpture can be safely located outside not just kept inside and protected from weather. Sculpture on the Edge as a venue is an opportunity for both. For me the extensive exhibition of small works makes SOTE unique and so much more accessible to everyone. Sculpture on the Edge is a powerful stage to promote the art of sculpture in Australia to a broad audience. I’ll be back this year!

All Sculptures must be for sale at time of entry through to the competition and must not be sold prior to the event.

SCULPTOR/ARTIST DETAILS

High resolution images suitable for printing and promotional purposes must be supplied. If supplying a concept piece, professional images can be supplied later. Acceptable minimum image specs: 148.5mm x 210mm /or 1754px x 2480px. 300dpi.

SALES INFORMATION

Please provide bank account details for artwork sales to be dispersed in due course.
Note: Transport, removal and insurance of a purchased sculpture is the responsibility of the purchaser and artist. Delivery terms are set by the artist. Please provide any upfront and known delivery parameters and costs for our sales team. Eg. area of delivery and any minimum costs involved, etc.

Sculpture One (S1)

If greater than 16 kg, 2 people may need to assist bringing it and does it come in sections?

Sculptures exhibited at previous SOTE exhibitions are ineligible to re-enter the competition. If it has never been exhibited leave blank.

The price of the sculpture in AUD including 20% commission and if applicable GST.

PARTICIPATION

All exhibiting sculptors are encouraged to contribute to the success of the event. One of the most valuable opportunities is the direct interaction between visitors and sculptors, where artists can discuss their works, share insights, and highlight the unique value of owning sculpture. Potential other opportunities like presenting a workshop or artist talk.

I agree to not hold Flaxton Gardens and Arts Connect Inc liable for theft or damage, costs and liabilities for any artwork damage, personal injury or other property damage which is the result of handling and displaying my artwork at Flaxton Gardens for the 2026 Sculpture on the Edge exhibition.
