As an exhibiting artist, Sculpture on the Edge is the highlight of my exhibition calendar. Not only is Flaxton Gardens the perfect backdrop for the selected sculptors to showcase their work, the wine and food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very special - I love the sense of community as artists unite with art lovers in this annual celebration of creativity on the Sunshine Coast.

I have had entries in the Sculpture on the Edge for a few years now and find the whole experience really enjoyable. The entry process is easy and each year the install goes really well. The committee are friendly and helpful and getting to meet fellow artists at the various events is a great networking opportunity.

I look forward to this wonderful exhibition every year as it is always such a positive experience. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, the venue makes the artwork shine even more and it's always such a happy moment when another of my sculptures gets sold to an appreciating art lover.

Participating in Sculpture on the Edge has been a truly inspiring experience for me. As a recycled sculpture artist, it’s incredibly rewarding to see my work exhibited alongside such diverse and creative talent in a stunning hinterland setting. Sculpture is transformative in ways that painting is not... Sculpture takes on such different appearances in different light, time of day and direction. A lot of sculpture can be safely located outside not just kept inside and protected from weather. Sculpture on the Edge as a venue is an opportunity for both. For me the extensive exhibition of small works makes SOTE unique and so much more accessible to everyone. Sculpture on the Edge is a powerful stage to promote the art of sculpture in Australia to a broad audience. I’ll be back this year!
