All Sculptures must be for sale at time of entry through to the competition and must not be sold prior to the event.

SCULPTOR/ARTIST DETAILS

Please provide bank account details for artwork sales to be dispersed in due course.
Note: Transport, removal and insurance of a purchased sculpture is the responsibility of the purchaser and artist. Delivery terms are set by the artist. Please provide any upfront and known delivery parameters and costs for our sales team. Eg. area of delivery and any minimum costs involved, etc.

Sculpture One (S1)

List each main material and an estimate of its percentage of the sculpture
For a collaboration of two or more people, list the names or group here.

If greater than 16 kg, 2 people may need to assist bringing it and does it come in sections?

Must be after 1 August 2024.
Sculptures exhibited at previous SOTE exhibitions are ineligible to re-enter the competition. If it has never been exhibited leave blank.
Where was the sculpture last exhibited? If it has never been exhibited leave blank.
This information will be included on the didactic and in the catalogue if the sculpture is selected for exhibition. Maximum 250 characters.
The price of the sculpture in AUD including 20% commission and if applicable GST.
Include any specific requirements for the sculpture to be installed, de-installed and exhibited. If in sections or more than 1 piece to the sculpture ie. 2 birds = 1 sculpture, has a base or stand and does it come with the sculpture etc.

PARTICIPATION

All exhibiting sculptors are encouraged to contribute to the success of the event. One of the most valuable opportunities is the direct interaction between visitors and sculptors, where artists can discuss their works, share insights, and highlight the unique value of owning sculpture. Potential other opportunities like presenting a workshop or artist talk.

I agree to not hold Flaxton Gardens and Arts Connect Inc liable for theft or damage, costs and liabilities for any artwork damage, personal injury or other property damage which is the result of handling and displaying my artwork at Flaxton Gardens for the 2026 Sculpture on the Edge exhibition.
